Karolina Futyma
Urodzona w 1990 roku w Giżycku. Jest absolwentką Wydziału Malarstwa Akademii Sztuk Pięknych w Gdańsku. W 2017 roku obroniła dyplom zrealizowany w IV Pracowni Malarstwa pod kierunkiem Prof. Macieja Świeszewskiego wraz z aneksem w Pracowni Malarstwa Ściennego i Witrażu pod kierunkiem Prof. Jacka Zdybla. Obecnie zatrudniona jako Asystentka na Wydziale Malarstwa ASP w Gdańsku. Zajmuje się rysunkiem, malarstwem, fotografią, grafiką warsztatową, projektowaniem graficznym i sztuką w przestrzeni publicznej. Brała udział w licznych wystawach indywidualnych i zbiorowych, plenerach oraz konkursach, m.in.: Ogólnopolskie Biennale Sztuki „47. Salon Zimowy”, 6. Triennale Polskiego Malarstwa Współczesnego „Jesienne Konfrontacje”, 25. Międzynarodowy Wschodni Salon Sztuki, II Międzynarodowe Biennale Sztuki „Via Carpatia”. Beneficjentka stypendiów kulturalnych Ministra Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego oraz Prezydenta Miasta Gdańska.

Born in 1990 in Giżycko. She is a graduate of the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. In 2017, she defended her diploma completed in the 4th Painting Studio under the supervision of Prof. Maciej Świeszewski, with an annex carried out in the Studio of Wall Painting and Stained Glass under the supervision of Prof. Jacek Zdybel. She is currently employed as an Assistant at the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. She works with drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, graphic design, and art in public space. She has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions, plein-air events, and competitions, including: the National Biennale of Art “47th Winter Salon,” the 6th Triennial of Polish Contemporary Painting “Autumn Confrontations,” the 25th International Eastern Art Salon, and the 2nd International Art Biennale “Via Carpatia.” She is a recipient of cultural scholarships from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage and the Mayor of the City of Gdańsk.
