„Często pojawiającym się motywem jej obrazów i grafik jest figura kobiety, malowana na granicy hiperrealizmu, umieszczona w barwnych dekoracjach, w umownie potraktowanych wnętrzach; kobiety w uśpieniu, na granicy jawy i snu, bezbronne, a zarazem nieprzewidywalne. Innym sposobem obrazowania figury kobiecej jest płaska, ciemna sylweta, pozbawiona cech indywidualnych, ale za to w pełnej dynamice, w ruchu, w działaniu. Użyte środki wyrazu kojarzą się z technikami kolażu, wycinankami, choć oczywiście nimi nie są. W wielu jej obrazach obecne są kolorowe draperie, wzorzyste tapety, nawiązujące do sztuki pop-artu. Nasycone kolory wspierają narracyjność obrazów, ale jednocześnie oddziałują wartościami własnymi. Kolor, stosowany także w grafikach, artystka przedstawia jako źródło energii, coś niezbędnego do życia.” Joanna Matyja (fragment)
Aleksandra Prusinowska urodzona w 1986 roku w Gdyni. Absolwentka Akademii Sztuk Pięknych w Gdańsku. W 2018 roku obroniła tytuł doktora. Obecnie, na wydziale Grafiki, jest adiunktem w pracowni linorytu prof. Janusza Akermanna. Uprawia malarstwo i grafikę artystyczną. W swoich pracach lubi sięgać po wzorce z pop-kultury, nawiązujące do filmów, reklam, zdjęć prasowych; także komiksów, z właściwym im sposobem kadrowania.
Laureatka I nagrody w XIII Konkursie Graficznym im. Józefa Gielniaka, Grand Prix w konkursie Fundacji im. Franciszki Eibisch, II nagrody w X edycji konkursu „Artystyczna Podróż Hestii” oraz Nagrody Dyrektora Miejskiej Galerii Sztuki w Częstochowie w V Ogólnopolskim Konkursie im. Mariana Michalika na Obraz dla Młodych Malarzy. Stypendystka Ministra Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego, Marszałka woj. Pomorskiego i Miasta Gdyni.

“A frequently appearing motif of her paintings and graphics is a figure of a woman, painted on the border of hyperrealism, placed in colourful decorations, in conventionally treated interiors; women asleep, on the verge of waking and sleeping, defenceless and at the same time unpredictable. Another way of depicting a female figure is a flat, dark silhouette, devoid of individual features, but in full dynamics, in movement and action. The means of expression are associated with collage techniques, cutouts, although of course, they are not. In many of her paintings, there are colourful draperies, patterned wallpapers referring to the art of pop art. Saturated colours support the narrative of the images, but at the same time interact with their values. Color, also used in graphics, is presented by the artist as a source of energy, something necessary for life.”

Aleksandra Prusinowska born in 1986 in Gdynia. A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. In 2018, she defended her Ph.D. Currently, at the Faculty of Graphics, he is an assistant professor in the linocut studio of prof. Janusz Akermann. He practices painting and graphic arts. In his works, he likes to use patterns from pop culture, referring to films, advertisements and press photos; also comics, with their own way of framing.
Winner of the 1st prize in the 13th Graphic Competition. Józef Gielniak, Grand Prix in the competition of the Foundation.
