Agata Ruchlewicz-Dzianach
Urodzona w 1984 w Gdańsku. Absolwentka Wydziału Architektury i Wzornictwa ASP w Gdańsku. Swoją wiedzę poszerzała podczas licznych warsztatów, m.in. Dynamic Space (MIT Senseable City Lab, Berlin, DE), Public Space and People / Dreamhamar (Ecosistema Urbano, ES/NO), Bauhaus Workshop (Bauhaus Archiv, DE), 6th Underconstruction workshop (Venice Architecture Biennale, IT), Technicity (The Ohio State University, USA), Sensory Science: Measuring the Senses (UC Davis, University of California). Na Wydziale Architektury prowadzi Pracownię Podstaw Projektowania Architektury Wnętrz Prywatnych oraz jest asystentką w Pracowni Podstaw Projektowania Architektury Wnętrz I. W ramach indywidualnej praktyki zawodowej jest autorką wielu realizacji projektów wnętrz prywatnych oraz publicznych.
Jej działalność artystyczno-badawcza koncentruje się na relacjach pomiędzy człowiekiem a przestrzenią, obejmując zagadnienia cielesności i wielozmysłowości doświadczenia, subiektywnej oraz emocjonalnej percepcji otoczenia, a także poszukiwania nowych narracji kwestionujących utrwalone nawyki percepcyjne. Interesuje ją również potencjał języka architektury – werbalnego i formalnego – w kontekście relacji ludzko–nieludzkich oraz modeli współistnienia rozpatrywanych z perspektywy posthumanistycznej.
Współzałożycielka laboratorium miejskiego GrubyPunkt, z którym zrealizowała wiele projektów partycypacyjnych w Hiszpanii, Niemczech, Polsce oraz Portugalii, a także in situ lab – praktyki badawczej, działającej pomiędzy sztuką, architekturą, technologią i medycyną.
Współautorka monografii naukowej „Powszechna edukacja architektoniczna. Doświadczenia polskie i kształcenie incydentalne” (2021). Autorka esejów dla takich magazynów jak Architektura & Biznes, Engawa czy Engaging Cities. Należy do polskiego zespołu międzynarodowej sieci Women in Architecture.
Laureatka licznych stypendiów (Miasta Gdańska, IAM), uczestniczka międzynarodowych programów rezydencyjnych (m.in. Research Pavilion #5 w Finlandii, Platforma 11 w Niemczech, alg-a lab w Hiszpanii). Jej projekty były prezentowane m.in. w Augusta Gallery HIAP w Helsinkach, Muzeum Architektury we Wrocławiu, Supermarkt Gallery w Berlinie, Praline OffSpace w Lipsku, na Espacio Enter Festival na Teneryfie, Post Screen Festival w Lizbonie, Festiwalu Digital Cultures w Warszawie oraz Międzynarodowym Festiwalu Architektury EME3 w Barcelonie i São Paulo. Aktywnie bierze udział w konferencjach m.in. Architecture Unlocks Nature (Politecnico di Milano, IT), II International Conference Soundscapes (Minho University, Braga, PT), Memory Studies Association conference (University of Copenhagen, DEN), czy International Seminar Women in Architecture (Valencia, ES).
Nagradzana w różnych konkursach organizowanych m.in. przez DoFA Dolnośląski Festiwal Architektury, Architecture for Humanity Chicago, The Art of Urban Environments Festival (USA) czy Knauf Group. Jej prace były publikowane m.in. przez e-flux, European Forum for Architectural Policies, Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia czy kolumbijskie Proyecto Diseño.

Born in 1984 in Gdańsk. A graduate of the Faculty of Architecture and Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. She expanded her knowledge during numerous workshops, including Dynamic Space (MIT Senseable City Lab, Berlin, DE), Public Space and People / Dreamhamar (Ecosistema Urbano, ES/NO), Bauhaus Workshop (Bauhaus Archiv, DE), 6th Underconstruction workshop (Venice Architecture Biennale, IT), Technicity (The Ohio State University, USA), Sensory Science: Measuring the Senses (UC Davis, University of California). At the Faculty of Architecture, she leads the Basics of Private Interior Design Studio and assists at the Basics of Interior Design Studio I. Within her individual professional practice, she has designed numerous private and public interiors.
Her artistic and research work focuses on the relationship between humans and space, particularly corporeality and multi-sensory experience, subjective and emotional perception, and the search for new narratives that challenge established perceptual habits. She is also interested in the potential of architectural language – verbal and formal – in the context of human-nonhuman relations and models of coexistence considered from a posthumanist perspective.
Co-author of the academic monograph „Powszechna edukacja architektoniczna. Doświadczenia polskie i kształcenie incydentalne” ("Universal Architectural Education. Polish Experiences and Incidental Education") (2021). Author of essays for magazines such as Architektura & Biznes, Engawa, and Engaging Cities. Member of the Polish team of the international Women in Architecture network.
Winner of numerous scholarships (City of Gdańsk, IAM), participant of international residency programs (including Research Pavilion #5 in Finland, Platforma 11 in Germany, alg-a lab in Spain). Her projects have been presented at galleries and events, among others, at Augusta Gallery HIAP in Helsinki, Museum of Architecture in Wrocław, Supermarkt Gallery in Berlin, Praline OffSpace in Leipzig, Espacio Enter Festival in Tenerife, Post Screen Festival in Lisbon, Digital Cultures Festival in Warsaw, and International Architecture Festival EME3 in Barcelona and São Paulo. She was a speaker at many conferences, including Architecture Unlocks Nature (Politecnico di Milano, IT), II International Conference Soundscapes (Minho University, Braga, PT), Memory Studies Association conference (University of Copenhagen, DEN), and International Seminar Women in Architecture (Valencia, ES).
Awarded in various competitions organized by, among others, DoFA Lower Silesian Festival of Architecture, Architecture for Humanity Chicago, The Art of Urban Environments Festival (USA), and Knauf Group. Her work has been published by e-flux, European Forum for Architectural Policies, Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia, and Colombia’s Proyecto Diseño.
