Absolwentka Akademii Sztuki w Szczecinie na kierunku malarstwa, gdzie uzyskała dyplom z wyróżnieniem pod kierunkiem dr hab. Małgorzaty Szymankiewicz oraz dr Artura Malewskiego. W swoich obiektach malarsko-rzeźbiarskich budowuje nowe formy z obiektów zastanych. Tworzy strukturę reliefową poprzez artystyczne zmaganie się z samym materiałem. To podejście do malarstwa, w którym wykorzystywane materiały znalezione, niepotrzebne, już kiedyś użyte, stają się elementem nowych prac sztuki. Są swoistym cyklem rozkładu i odnowy.

Graduate of Painting at the Academy of Art in Szczecin, where she received a diploma with honours under the supervision of dr hab. Małgorzata Szymankiewicz and dr Artur Malewski. When creating her painting and sculptural objects, she layers forms by constructing new shapes from found objects, building relief-like structures through an artistic struggle with the material itself. This approach to painting involves the use of found, discarded, and previously used materials, which become elements of new artworks, representing a unique cycle of decay and renewal.

Zawsze trzymaj się ramy

Prezentowane prace są wynikiem osobistego dialogu z pamięcią – jej kruchością, siłą i nieuchwytną naturą. Stanowią rodzaj późnego buntu i przewrotnej odpowiedzi na słowa ojca: „zawsze trzymaj się ramy”. To właśnie wyjście poza ramy – dosłownie i metaforycznie – staje się motorem procesu twórczego. Artystka poszukuje śladów – duchowych i materialnych – które pozwalają jej prowadzić intymną rozmowę z przeszłością. Wykorzystując już zużyte, nietrwałe materiały, rejestruje ulotność pamięci oraz jej zdolność do ciągłego odradzania się. Inspirację stanowi zarówno destrukcja, jak i odnowa – naturalny cykl zapominania i przypominania. Kompozycje są wynikiem obserwacji i pochłaniania otaczającej rzeczywistości. To nie tylko obrazy, ale również dokumentacje przestrzeni, które „przemawiają” do artystki. Przestrzeń staje się sceną – miejscem światła i cienia, trwałości i zanikania. Materiał, zmienny i wrażliwy na czas, wilgotność, temperaturę, podkreśla efemeryczny charakter dzieła. Układ form jest pozornie przypadkowy – to właśnie ich wzajemna relacja nadaje im znaczenie. Nic nie jest trwałe. Prace mają być refleksją nad przemijaniem, nad nieustającymi zmianami – zarówno w nas, jak i w naturze. To próba bycia „tu i teraz”. Próba opuszczenia znanych ram. Próba zrozumienia siebie poprzez materię i jej ciągłą transformację.

The works presented in this exhibition emerge from a deeply personal dialogue with memory – its fragility, strength and elusive nature. They reflect a late act of rebellion and a subtle defiance of the artist’s father’s words: “always stay within the frame”. Here, stepping beyond the frame – both literally and conceptually – becomes the driving force of creation. The artist searches for spiritual and material traces that allow her to engage in an intimate conversation with the past. Using repurposed and impermanent materials, she records memory’s vulnerability, as well as its persistent capacity for renewal. Her inspiration lies in the dynamic interplay between destruction and regeneration – the natural cycle of forgetting and
remembering. Each composition is born out of careful observation and a profound absorption of the surrounding environment. These are not merely images, but visual documentations of spaces that “speak” to the artist. Space becomes a stage – a spectacle of light and shadow, permanence and disappearance. The materials, sensitive to time, humidity and temperature, highlight the ephemeral quality of the work. The arrangement of forms appears accidental, yet their mutual placement generates meaning. Nothing is fixed. The works invite reflection on transience and the inevitable transformations – both within ourselves and in the natural world. This is an attempt to be fully present. An invitation to step outside the familiar frame. A search for self through the ever-changing language of matter.
