Urodzona w Warszawie. Artystka wizualna i fotografka. Ukończyła studia magisterskie z wyróżnieniem na Wydziale Intermediów Akademii Sztuk Pięknych w Gdańsku, w Pracowni Działań Transdyscyplinarnych prof. Grzegorza Klamana. Interesuje się zagadnieniami związanymi z nowymi mediami i post-fotografią. Jest autorką photobooka pt. Orphans. Jest członkinią Galerii UL – niezależnej inicjatywy kulturalnej, zrzeszającej twórców i teoretyków z pogranicza różnych dziedzin, która organizuje wystawy i wydarzenia kulturalne, m.in festiwal performance. Brała udział w wystawach, w tym dwóch indywidualnych.

Born in Warsaw. Visual artist and photographer. She completed her MA with honours at the Transdisciplinary Activities Laboratory under the supervision of prof. Grzegorz Klaman at the Faculty of Intermedia of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. She is interested in issues related to new media and post-photography. She is the author of the Orphans photobook and a co-creator of Galeria UL – an independent cultural initiative that brings together artists and theorists from various fields and organizes exhibitions and cultural events, i.a. a performance festival. She participated in a number of exhibitions, of which two were individual.

Martwa natura?

Martwa natura? dotyczy natury, środowiska i technologii. Kładzie nacisk nie na fotograficzne reprezentacje natury, a jej cyfrowe, wygenerowane przez komputer oblicze, działające przez synergię różnych narzędzi do tworzenia form wizualnych. Stawiając pytania o granice fotografii i o związek nowych technologii z jej dotychczasowymi formami, praca ukazuje żywotność i wszechstronność medium, które podlega nieustannej transformacji technologicznej. Cyfrowa kompozycja danych i fikcji, w której twórcza wyobraźnia artystki łączy się z niezależnymi od niej generatywnymi manipulacjami przeplatają się, tworząc sieć zależności i połączeń między rzeczywistościami.

Still life?

Still life? is about nature, the environment and technology. The emphasis is not on photographic representations of nature, but its digital, computer-generated face, operating through the synergy of various tools for creating visual forms. By asking questions about the limits of photography and the relationship between new technologies and its existing forms, the work shows the vitality and versatility of a medium that is undergoing constant technological transformation. The digital composition of data and fiction, in which the artist's creative imagination is combined with generative manipulations independent of her, intertwine, creating a network of dependencies and connections between realities.
