„Uwielbiam rysunki Saula Steinberga i suity wiolonczelowe Bacha. Myślę, że coś je łączy. Cieszę się ze spotkań z Hugonem Laseckim, moim niegdysiejszym profesorem. Dzięki niemu wypatruję i nasłuchuję dźwięków rysowania. Lubię tekturowe gitary Picassa, Merzbilder Kurta Schwittersa i wszystko, co leży na ulicy, czeka w śmietniku, złomowcu lub na targu staroci – chcę zobaczyć w nich sens i usłyszeć ich głos, może nawet arię. Interesuje mnie metafora ukryta w drobnych fragmentach oczy- i rzeczy- wistości. Zapraszam je do swojego teatru, Teatru Rekwizytornia. Czasami występują też na innych scenach…”
Urodzony w 1958 roku w Gdańsku. Studia w latach 1977–1982 na Wydziale Malarstwa i Grafiki PWSSP (obecnie ASP) w Gdańsku, dyplom z grafiki projektowej pod kierunkiem profesora Marka Freudenreicha i profesora Witolda Janowskiego. Obecnie profesor na Wydziale Grafiki. Twórczość w zakresie różnych form projektowania graficznego: plakatu, komunikacji wizualnej, grafiki edytorskiej, edycji filatelistycznych oraz małych form graficznych. Udział w wielu edycjach międzynarodowych cyklicznych wystaw plakatu: Warszawa, Lahti, Mexico City, Colorado, Teheran, Moskwa, Sofia, Taiwan, Chicago, Toyama, Hangzhou oraz Expo’92 w Sewilli. Kilkukrotny laureat Biennale Plakatu Polskiego w Katowicach (Grand Prix: 2003, 2007), a także nagród międzynarodowych, między innymi I nagroda w kategorii plakatów kulturalnych 3th International Biennial of Poster, Bolivia BICeBe (2009) oraz Grand Prix 6th International Triennial of Stage Poster, Sofia 2010.

"I love the drawings of Saul Steinberg and Bach’s cello suites. I think they have something in common. I am happy to meet Hugon Lasecki, my former professor. Thanks to it, I look for and listen intently to drawing sounds. I like cardboard guitars by Picasso, Merzbilder Kurt Schwitters and everything that lies on the street, waiting in the trash can, at the junkyard or antique market – I want to see sense in them and hear their voice, maybe even an aria. I am interested in the metaphor hidden in the small fragments of the obviousness and reality. I invite them to my theatre, Rekwizytornia Theatre. Sometimes they also appear on other stages..."
Born in Gdańsk in 1958. Studies in the years 1977–1982 at the Faculty of Painting and Graphics of the PWSSP (currently the Academy of Fine Arts) in Gdańsk, diploma in graphic design under the supervision of professor Marek Freudenreich and professor Witold Janowski. Currently a professor at the Faculty of Graphics. Creativity in various forms of graphic design: poster, visual communication, editorial graphics, philatelic editions and small graphic forms. Participation in many editions of international cyclical poster exhibitions: Warsaw, Lahti, Mexico City, Colorado, Tehran, Moscow, Sofia, Taiwan, Chicago, Toyama, Hangzhou and Expo'92 in Seville. Multiple winner of the Polish Poster Biennale in Katowice (Grand Prix: 2003, 2007), as well as international awards, including the 1st prize in the category of cultural posters of the 3rd International Biennial of Poster, Bolivia BICeBe (2009) and the Grand Prix of the 6th International Triennial of Stage Poster, Sofia 2010.
