„Interesuje mnie modyfikacja znaczeń i symboli obecnych w powszechnej percepcji. W pracy nad realizacjami często odnoszę się do figur widma i ruiny. Szukam rozwiązań budujących narracje wymagające zaangażowania własnej perspektywy odbiorcy.”
Martyna Jastrzębska (ona/jej) – artystka wizualna. Pracuje głównie z obiektem i instalacją.
W jej działaniach przeplatają się wątki przemijania, zmiany, odradzania się, reinterpretacji znaczenia śladu, dekonstrukcji mitu i symbolu. Rezydentka NES Artist Residency Iceland i Centrum Rzeźby Polskiej. Laureatka m.in.: Grand Prix na IV Gdańskim Biennale Sztuki, Stypendium Ministra Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego, Nagrody Miasta Gdańska dla Młodych Twórców Kultury za rok 2019. Nominowana przez Muzeum Narodowe w Gdańsku w międzynarodowym projekcie Baltic Horizons. W 2022 roku otrzymała trzyletnie Stypendium Ministra dla Wybitnych Młodych Naukowców.
Jej prace znajdują się w kolekcjach prywatnych, Kolekcji na Nowe 100-lecie Banku Polskiego PKO, kolekcji sztuki współczesnej w NOMUS, dziale Muzeum Narodowego w Gdańsku.

Martyna Jastrzebska (she/her) is a visual artist mainly working with objects and installations.
Her practice revolves around themes of transience, transformation and rebirth, reinterpreting the meaning of traces, as well as deconstructions of myths and symbols. Jastrzębska was an artist-in-residence at NES Artist Residency Iceland and the Centre of Polish Sculpture. She is the winner of, among others, the City of Gdańsk Award for Young Artists in the Field of Culture, Grand Prix in the fourth edition of the Gdańsk Biennale of Art, and the Cultural Scholarship of the City of Gdańsk. She is also Scholarship holder of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage. In 2022 she received a Scholarship for Outstanding Young Scientists in the field of fine arts and art conservation.
Her works are included in private collections, the Collection for the New Century of PKO Bank Polski, and the contemporary art collection in NOMUS, part of the National Museum in Gdańsk.
